Palo Alto – Ojen, Marbella

A life of luxury is what Palo Alto encompasses, with state of the art designs and incredible amenities, it is the place to be.

Where is it located?

Brand new, with several amenities still in completion, Palo Alto is the up and coming residence. Located just 5 minutes away from Marbella’s city centre, in the town of Ojen, it boasts a quiet and peaceful environment, yet is in close proximity to the bustling lights of Marbella.

What is the layout of Palo Alto?

Once completed, the entire development of Palo Alto will be situated on 500.000m2 of land, with 500 families living there. At this point, around 50% of the development has been completed, with over 200 families residing.

The complex is divided into North and South areas. The North area will include 7 apartment blocks, as well as the Gate House, Farmers Market, Palo Alto Club and tennis court. The South Area includes villas, semi-detached villas, apartments, and amenities such as the Owners Club, the Serenity Valley and the Equestrian Center. The construction of the first phase of villas has begun.

What are the distinct features?

This brand-new development focuses on their residents, with comfort and exclusivity being a priority. As such, there is a vast range of amenities available for use.

The Gate House, completed in 2021, is essentially an area where residents can go to manage daily life tasks. There is a concierge service, postal services and rental and management facilities. The entrance is also under 24/7 surveillance.

The Palo Alto Club, completed in 2020, is set for residents to focus on their well-being. Tennis facilities and a gym are available for use, as well as a SPA which includes a heated pool, jacuzzi and hammam. A private lounge with a cafeteria, plus a rooftop terrace with panoramic views complete this great facility.

Several other amenities are in the works, with the Farmer’s market set to be completed in 2024. This will include an organic market every second weekend, which will be open to the public. It will include its own separate access and a parking lot, making it easy to reach. This will be a great opportunity to socialise and get-together with the community.

Estimated to be completed by the end of 2024, the Owners Club will include a public restaurant, roof terrace lounge, another SPA and Gym, as well as outdoor spaces for events and sports.

The serenity valley, with completion at the end of 2024, will be a place to relax and come at one with nature. The idea is a large green park in the midst of the development, with hiking and jogging trails. There will be spots for yoga and meditation, as well as a golf practice area for chipping. The lush gardens will create an ambiance of tranquillity.

With the date of completion yet to be confirmed, the Equestrian Center will hold stables for private horses, horse rental for area tours with a guide and an electric mountain bike station for rentals. Similarly, the Granja, which will be an organic farming land is also yet to be finalised. It will be a space for those wanting to get into gardening, with private allotments available for rent. Additionally, professional gardeners will be producing organic fruits and vegetables for serving at the Palo Alto restaurant and the Farmer’s Market.

What are the property features?

Residence options in Palo Alto are varied, with apartment sizes ranging from 130m2 to 645m2 built, with spacious terraces in all. Villas range between 80-0 and 900m2 built, on plots of 1200m2. Semi-detached villas will range between 400 and 450m2 built, on 600m2 plots. All properties offer stunning views of the nearby national park, Sierra de las Nieves, and the shimmering Mediterranean Sea.

The North Area, named The Residences, is divided into several phases:

Almendros I and II comprises 87 apartments in 11 buildings, of 2 and 3 bedrooms. There are both garden apartments and penthouses, facing south east to south. 2 outdoor pools are located for community use.

Pinaspos comprises 19 apartments in 4 buildings, with 5 apartments per building, making it exclusive and private. All apartments are 3-bedroom, both garden and penthouses, facing south east to south west. This property hosts open plan interiors, with the most spectacular panoramic views in Palo Alto. Community amenities include one large outdoor pool surrounded by lush private gardens, as well as a private gym and spa.

Jacarandas consists of 60 contemporary apartments distributed across six low-rise buildings. 2 to 4 bedrooms, also either garden or penthouses, with panoramic views from south east to south west. An outdoor swimming pool and tropical gardens are available to enjoy.

Eucaliptos is made up of 36 units of 2 and 3 bedroom apartments in southwest orientation. Views are directly of Gibraltar, and these properties are within walking distance from the tennis court and the Palo Alto Club. There is also an outdoor swimming pool for residents to use.

Granados is the final phase of the Residences set to be completed in 2024, with 60 contemporary apartments distributed across an ensemble of 6 buildings. Options include 2 or 3 bedroom apartments, all of which are open-plan. Panoramic views face south east to south, and large gardens can be seen throughout. There is also an outdoor pool to be used.

The South Area consists of 2 phases:

Ceibas includes 10 spacious contemporary apartments situated on a hill. They include perfect south orientation with incredible panoramic views. Large 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses are featured in this community, and residents have easy access to the Owners club, Gym and SPA.
