Marbella Club Golf Resort is a community developed and operated by the same developers who created the Golden Mile’s gem, the Marbella Club Hotel. Residential properties overlook the 18-hole course in one of Marbella’s most luxurious vicinities.

Sitting just north of the AP-7 road, Marbella Club Golf Resort is nestled in the hills of the Benahavis range. It is considered to be in the municipality of Benahavis.

With the opening of Marbella Club Hotel in the 1950's by Principe Alfonso de Hohenlohe, and the great success that came with it, an expansion was in the works. The golf course was completed in 1999, with Dave Thomas as its designer. After that, luxury residences began being built in the surrounding hills, making way to Marbella Club Golf Resort as we know it today.

Marbella Club Golf Resort is an exclusive community, with only 40 homes available. There are still remaining plots for sale, however in rather limited quantities, due to the rise in demand.

The golf course: Considered among the best on the Costa del Sol. The 18-hole, 73-par course measures 6247 metres long. Lakes and bunkers are adorned by olive trees and wildflowers, creating a challenge to even the most proficient players. There is also a driving range, where you can take lessons with golf professionals to improve your game.

Please note that only guests staying at either Marbella Club or Puente Romano hotel, resort residents and a limited number of visitors are allowed on the course each day to ensure privacy, excellent service and a peaceful round of golf.

Similarly, you have access to El Higueral, a 9-hole, 36-par golf course located just 15 minutes away. For a more casual game, this is ideal.

The Clubhouse

A beautiful cottage overlooking the lake, the Clubhouse is the place to be. Players unwind, residents mingle, whilst the attentive staff do their utmost to provide unparalleled service. There is a restaurant and cafe on-site, with Michelin star Chef Juan Galvez supervising the menu.
