Erik Conover, an American actor, blogger and adventure filmmaker, and Artur Loginov, the top agent in Marbella, have teamed up once again to speak about an amazing house in Zagaleta, one of the best locations in Europe.

Zagaleta reminds of Beverly Hills or Bel Air in Los Angeles, very same climate, stunning views, nature, and full privacy on the hilltops… If you want to know more about this location, you can pop to the channel for an area.

Speaking about the house, it has a plot of 7.350 m2, almost 2.000 m2 built plus huge terraces, and the asking price of 12.750.000 euros. It offers modern-style architecture with Andalusian details and touches.

ENTRANCE. GROUND FLOOR.

The driveway space is huge and the entrance is dramatic. Once, during the party 20 Ferraris were parked there without any problem. There is an open outside garage, and another garage for 6 - 7 cars goes under the property.

The moment you approach the house you already admire the sea views. You enter the hall and see cool ceramic on the floors and the ceilings with the glass inlaid, so you can look up and see yourself. Everything is very modern, minimalistic and elegant, with clean lines and an open-space feel.

The lift goes to all floors.

The grand living room has almost triple height ceilings, and the back wall is just floor-to-ceiling glass. The backyard space is very attractive, with the infinity-edge swimming pool and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the green hills. The massive platform is unique, not easy to find in Zagaleta with its slopes. You can see that the house is very symmetrical, with the left and right wings, and there is a little outdoor cabana area and the pool, which is deep and proper for training.

The great thing about Zagaleta is privacy; your neighbours are far away. This is your own hilltop, very isolated and very open.

The covered porches with outdoor dining rooms are important in Marbella, because we get a lot of sun especially in the summer.

BEDROOMS.

There are 8 bedrooms in this property, 2 on the ground floor, 3 upstairs including the Master suite which occupies the best corner with the best views, and then 3 bedroom suites in the basement.

KITCHEN.

The sleek kitchen is around 100 m2, huge, open, with very high ceilings, an indoor dining area, a nice TV-area, plenty of storage spaces, and ‘double of everything’: a double island, double appliances, double fridges, etc. You can host big parties in there.

There is a separate entrance from the carport straight into the kitchen, which makes it very practical. A little terrace on the side enjoys the mountain views and beautiful nature. The protected Mediterranean pine trees cannot be cut down, and there is some wildlife within the urbanization.

Back to the living room, we see the wood beams, the columns separating the space, the dark wood elements, a huge chimney going up, beautiful light fixture above head… it's like a ballroom.

Then there are 2 large bedrooms with high ceiling, natural wood elements and glass walls, connected with the outside. All the exterior walls are glass, which is very typical of the modern houses in Marbella. The white tones of wooden floors make the spaces always seem bigger.

The wardrobes are completely separated; a walk-in wardrobe takes you all the way to the bathroom that has an open concept closet space, massive walk-in shower, a freestanding bathtub and even access to outdoor space.

The functionality of this home with its simple, practical layout, open public space and private wings is appealing.

UPSTAIRS.

The huge staircase with glass railings and details that mix ceramic with wood leads upstairs, where you can get a sense of true proportion of this space and see how massive it is. It is very grand!

The main office is strategically set right in the middle of the house, with much glass and a private toilet.

The massive Master suite of 150 m2 has its own private terraces facing south and west, with beautiful, actually the best views. The ceiling of 4.20 m has LED lighting, the bed is in the middle and then there is a huge closet space (another one is on the other side). The stylish, black and white Master bathroom has a water closet, huge walk-in shower, double vanity and freestanding soaking bathtub.

On the other side, there are 2 other bedrooms, which are pretty much identical. All the finishes are very high-end.

The walls all open up so you have almost the same size outdoors as indoors, and that is quite incredible. You can have gym equipment out there or a lounge, or adapt it to your own personal style, as many other spaces in this house. In addition, there is a ‘Romeo and Juliet’ kind of balcony as well.

Some people on YouTube channel complain that they do not see all the bedrooms. Please comment down below if you want to see more videos like this one, where we show the entire house even the guest bedrooms, which are less entertaining, or you prefer just the highlights.

BASEMENT.

The basement / the entertainment floor offers a lounge area with the white pool table matching the floors, and a proper bar with an ice machine, so you could fully entertain down there.

Erik calls the cinema in this house probably the coolest cinema he has ever seen, with the led strips and the stars on the ceiling, black walls, a huge screen and a cozy sofa concept, which is better than the cinema chairs. He says, in New York City they have great cinemas because it rains and it's cold. The weather is so beautiful in Marbella that you would never expect to have such a nice cinema. Artur explains, that in Marbella they say, ‘a mega mansion is not a mega mansion if there is no cinema in the basement’. That is the truth right there.

A SPA-area is a combination of the gym and an indoor pool with a cool water feature in the background. The home fitness center has its own terrace overlooking the mountains.

The garage is also quite stunning; this is more of a car showroom. You can fit in there easily 4- 5 up to 10 cars. You have views even from your garage, which is already quite spectacular.

A guest suite on this floor is quite spacious, with a big bathroom and terrace space. We are on the lower level technically, but it is just as bright as the top floor, with lots of sunlight, and everything is high level.

There is an extra storage room, one of many around the property, which is very handy. There are toilets, showers, another sauna and Hammam, a machinery room and then away from the rest of the house, you have other 2 big bedroom suites, which are perfect for guests or stuff because they have their own access from the outside. One bedroom has a lounge area and a door to a laundry. The design doesn't just look pretty but it's functional.

The nice secondary staircase takes you back to the garden level and the gazebo, which is another beautiful addition to the property. The furthest corner away from the house invites to relax, have food al fresco; there are showers, a toilet and you have the possibility to install a summer kitchen.

It is a beautiful modern property, not overwhelming, not overbearing, with terracotta roof tiles bringing that little Mediterranean touch.
